In Conversation — A 5-Part Series

Our lives are shaped by the conversations we have — the ones happening inside us, the ones we share with others, and the quiet ones unfolding in the world around us. In Conversation is a five-part, stand-alone series designed to help us look more closely at how we relate, respond, connect, and communicate.

Each session offers gentle guidance, shared reflection, and grounded tools you can take into your real life.
Come to one or come to all. Everyone is welcome in every session.

  • Before anything else, there is the conversation within.
    How do we speak to ourselves? How do we see ourselves? How much of our outer life is shaped by the tone of our inner world?

    In this opening session, we’ll explore:

    • the narratives running inside us

    • what happens when they soften

    • what becomes possible when they shift

    A grounding start to the series.

  • Before a good conversation begins, there’s preparation — emotional, physical, energetic.
    Just like choosing layers before going out into the weather, we can choose how we show up in a conversation.

    We’ll explore:

    • how to align ourselves before we speak

    • what steadies us when emotions run high

    • how to support others in feeling safe and comfortable

    A practical, supportive look at readiness and relational warmth.

  • Most of our reactions and interpretations can be traced back to one of two roots: love or fear.
    This session helps us identify which place we’re speaking from, and how to gently shift toward clarity and compassion.

    Together we’ll explore:

    • how to recognize fear-based patterns

    • how to return to love-based thinking

    • simple tools to interrupt the loop of over-analyzing and over-explaining

    A session full of perspective, curiosity, and softening.

  • Rested bodies and quiet minds make better conversations.
    In a world filled with noise, stimulus, and constant pull, silence has become a rare and valuable resource.

    We’ll explore:

    • what true rest looks like for you

    • how to welcome silence without discomfort

    • how rest creates the conditions for clarity, honesty, and healing

    Slow, restorative, and deeply needed.

  • To close the series, we’ll meet outdoors — gathered around a winter bonfire on a frozen lake.
    There’s something special about standing on ice, feeling the crisp air, and hearing the world quiet itself down. It’s a natural invitation into reflection and conversation.

    Together we will:

    • learn a bit about how ice forms on northern lakes

    • share closing reflections and intentions

    • enjoy warmth, community, and spacious winter sky

    A beautiful ending for those who attend the full series — and a magical, intriguing entry point for anyone joining for the first time.
