Out on the Ice: Ice Reading & Self-Reflection
February 21 · 1–5pm · Ely, MN
$30 per person · Limited to 15 participants
Winter has its own language — written in pressure ridges, cracks, bubbles, snow layers, and shifting light.
In this seasonal gathering, we’ll learn to “read” the ice for both safety and story, and we’ll use those patterns as a way to understand our own inner landscape.
Together we will:
walk safely on local ice
learn the basics of ice reading
notice winter textures, sounds, and clues
pause for guided personal reflection
share insights (optional) in a gentle small group
warm up with tea + quiet conversation
This workshop blends outdoor experience, seasonal awareness, and meaningful reflection — designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and gain clarity during the deep of winter.
No experience necessary.
All are welcome.
Dress warmly, we will be outside the entire time.
Registration required — this gathering is limited to keep the experience intimate.
